The Lean Pockets breakfast is available in a box of five quesadillas, as well as two per box. Unfortunately, only the box of five was available and now I am stuck with four left of something I don’t like. The Southwest Style includes turkey sausage, egg and low fat cheese. This sounds like a great mix, but I could barely finish a single serving.

Lean Pocket meals are hit or miss. Some are good. Some are forgettable. This joins the latter group. The only good thing about this sandwich was the crust itself — traditional crust that you’ve come to expect from Lean Pockets.

For those who like it, the quesadilla should be just right for breakfast unless you typically eat a large breakfast. It also helps those who need to take breakfast on the go pending you heat it before leaving your home or have a microwave wherever you’re going.

I have not tried the plain Lean Pocket Sausage, Egg and Cheese. If I do, it’ll make it possible to tell if it’s the basic ingredients that disagreed with me or the added sauce to give it a fiesta flavor, which isn’t spicy. Right now, I’m on a low carb diet, so it’ll be a while before I find it and try it.

Nutrition facts: 250 calories with 70 from fat. 11g of protein, 33g of carbs with only 1g of that being fiber.
