CedarLane Eggplant MoussakaCedarLane Eggplant Mediterranean Moussaka features two slices of roasted eggplant bathed in tomato sauce.  They’re coddled by crisp carrots, sliced mushrooms, cut red bell pepper, feta cheese and a mashup of herbs and spices. A creamy Mediterranean white sauce finishes off the stack. I wanted to like this, but the feta cheese felt lost in this mix. I know — feta is the very embodiment of Greek food. Alas, it wasn’t dancing to the same tune as the rest of the crew. And in this case, standing out isn’t a good thing.

I’ll stick with the awesome CedarLane Eggplant Parmesan.
