Atkins Advantage Caramel Chocolate Nut RollI had to do a double-take looking at the package after taking my first bite. I thought I accidentally grabbed an Endulge bar instead of an Advantage bar. Nope! The Atkins Advantage Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll tastes almost like Snickers, only it’s better! I prefer this over Snicker because it has more nuts giving it a bigger crunch and less nougat.

Bite only the nut and chocolate on the outside of the bar and it vaguely reminds me of Take 5 without the peanut butter. The saltiness from the peanuts and the chocolate taste delightful together. Then eat the nougat by itself for a mousse-flavored taffy-like bite. Just. Yum.

Rather than a fudge flavor, I taste semi-sweet chocolate flavor. Eating the bar feels nothing like a treat that the other advantage bars offer. Atkins Advantage Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll doesn’t have as much protein as the other advantage bars with 8g of protein in its 170 calories. It only has 2g sugar and 2g net carbs.

Uh oh. Fat is where the bar hits ya with 12g fat and 4.5g of it saturated — robbing the bar of an almost perfect score. I limit saturated fat around 2g, but this is worth it. I won’t eat it often because I eat advantage bars only a couple of times a week, if not less. I looked up peanuts and a serving can contain over 10g of fat with at least 2g of it saturated.

Off to savor the bar before it disappears. Ooh, I bet it’d be a treat if you freeze it.
