Amy's Organic Chunky Tomato Bisque SoupAmy’s Organic Soups Chunky Tomato Bisque has showed up on a lot of people’s favorites and recommendations from health resources. I’m not a fan of tomato soup because it’s plain, salty and often fattening especially the one from the famous French cafe chain.

Bisque is a cream soup made of pureed vegetables. There is another kind of bisque with shellfish, but this isn’t it. How is it different from plain tomato soup? Tomato soup’s consistency leans towards broth and less cream.

The weather had been beautiful… until this week when it dropped down from 40 to 55 degrees. I was freezing all day and had to family outing to go to, so soup was in the cards. Right decision. But was it the right soup?

Amy’s Organic Soups Chunky Tomato Bisque light in sodium contains 340mg of sodium while Amy’s regular Chunky Tomato Bisque has 680 mg. Betcha thinkin’ it’s gonna be bland!

Nope. I didn’t miss the extra sodium. Not for a second. Amy’s Organic Soups Chunky Tomato Bisque light in sodium had every flavor of tomato: sweet, tang, savory. Soft tomato chunks added perfect texture. The crisp flavors make you feel the tomatoes were fresh off the vine before ending up in the can. Beautiful soup.
