Amy's Organic Lentil Vegetable Soup Low SodiumI know I tried an Amy’s lentil soup, but I don’t remember which one. It isn’t Amy’s Organic Lentil Vegetable Soup (light in sodium) because I don’t love this one and I like the one I’ve had. Having the lower sodium lets you really taste the lentils, onions, carrots, celery, potatoes and green beans. It also has tomatoes and spinach, neither of which I could taste.

The soup includes extra virgin olive oil, garlic, sea salt and balsamic vinegar. These taste invisible. Obviously, some of these flavor the soup otherwise it’d taste like watery vegetable soup, which it doesn’t. The soup tastes like a light soup with beans, green beans, carrots and onions leading the way.

Amy’s Organic Lentil Vegetable Soup is dairy free, lactose free, gluten free, tree nut free, soy free, cholesterol free and vegan. Nutrition facts per serving: 160 calories, 4g fat, 0.5 sat fat, 340mg sodium, 24g carbs, 8g fiber, 5g sugars, 7g protein and 99 percent organic.
